For two centuries, Graham's fortune accumulated while he slept. When he awakened, wealth had become authority and ownership had become government.
But destroying one ruler does not destroy the system that made him possible.

The story remains readable in sequence—but the Archive will increasingly ask the collector to decide what to believe.
