LOCKING THE WORLD

Before rebuilding all fifty illustrations at production quality, the people, places, technology and colour progression of Archive 001 are being made consistent.

The original fifty artworks were created to discover the visual world of The Sleeper Archive. They established the mood, major scenes and the future-archaeology language of the project. Production requires another level of discipline.

A Visual Continuity Bible now defines recurring faces, costume language, social strata, architecture, transport systems, materials and the five-act colour progression of Archive 001.

The goal is not to make every image look identical. It is to make every image feel as though it belongs to the same world.

A consistent world makes a stronger story.

The visual rule

Historical plausibility comes before fashionable science-fiction shorthand. Wells's future should look inherited and developed from his world: stone, brass, glass, steel, fabric, paper, monumental systems and people living at different levels of the same city.

What we avoid

No generic neon treatment, random implants, modern tactical gear, readable invented branding, comic-book exaggeration or Archive 002 mythology inside Wells's timeline.
